Packtest Products Slip Friction Tester

Slip Friction Tester (Static Friction)

An equipment to test the Static Coefficient of Friction of Paper, Paper Board, Plastic Films, Laminates, etc.

This equipment measures the angle of slip.

Tangent of the angle is the COF (Static) value.

The test can be performed in the following configuration :
- Paper vs paper
- Paper vs metal
- Film vs film
- Film vs metal.

Keeping the COF in control can sort out many run-ability issues on fully automatic packing lines.

Inclined plane type Analog Model.

Motorized automatic model.

‘Gravity-Pendulum’ angle measurement (least count of 0.5°).

Calculation by using formula :

COF = Tan q (Tangent of the Angle of Slip)

Auto-Stop on sample slippage. No Operator error.
